February - Cooking Skills with Scott Nystrom

A bit about Scott

Scott+Nystrom+headshot.jpg

I first met Scott when he was studying Holistic Nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. He was in the first class at the Kelowna school and he really stood out as an upcoming star.

I was teaching the Business class and that’s when I found out that he’s also a chef, killer combo! Since graduating, he has continued to stand out with his cooking skills, his teaching, and his unique sense of style.

I was so happy that he said yes to join Your Beautiful Life and help us with our cooking skills <3.

To get to know him better, here’s his professional bio -

Scott Nystrom is passionate about food. The romance of a crisp baguette, the backstory of the ingredients, the taste of the seasons. As a locavore chef, Scott celebrates Okanagan farmers and artisans on his menus, bringing the finest heirloom organic vegetables and ethically raised meats to his dinner parties, taco feasts, and grazing boards.

As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Scott is well versed in diverse food styles and crafts personalized menus to please the palates and dietary restrictions of his guests. His contagious passion for food is inspiring and you can taste the love he puts into each mug of bone broth soup, jar of pickles or ferments, or his plant-based cheesecakes. Scott loves to collaborate with fellow foodies to create culinary magic, share food wisdom, and spread edible wellness.

A little bit about this masterclass -

Scott has put together a treasure trove of videos and handouts for us. I’ve organized them into different sections and I’ve written a bit about each part. All the writing is mine (Lisa), all of the videos and handouts is Chef Scott.

Scott will be joining us in our Facebook Group for February to answer your questions, yay!

For those of you not on Facebook, don’t worry, you’re not going to miss anything. Email me if you have any questions and I’ll upload any of his Facebook Videos to this masterclass as they happen <3.

Let’s get started! Head over to Part 1.
