Ingredients

  • 454 gm Ground turkey, lean (or bison, beef)

  • 1 can(s) (14oz) Diced tomatoes, canned

  • 1 can(s) (16 oz) Tomato sauce, canned

  • 1/2 cup Salsa, ready-to-serve

  • 1 can(s) (15 oz) Red kidney beans, canned, drained

  • 1 large Yellow onion (chopped)

  • 2 clove(s) Garlic (chopped)

  • 1/2 medium pepper(s) Green bell pepper (chopped)

  • 1 1/2 tbsp Chili powder

  • 1 tsp Cumin

  • 1/8 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

Brown the meat and onions in a 12-inch skillet and drain before adding all other ingredients. Simmer for 1-2 hours. (you can also add all of the ingredients to a slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours).

Serve with a baked potato or with a whole grain gluten free bun for a complete meal!
