Carbs are so very important, and collectively, we seem to have forgotten how precious and vital carbs are. Until relatively recently, carbs wore the golden halo that protein wears now. For many decades, carbohydrates were seen as the most important macronutrient. 

Your body digests chains of sugars and turns them into fuel. Right now, as you read this sentence, your brain is using glucose to process your thoughts, and your muscles are using glucose to hold up your computer. What tends to be missing from our “carbs are bad” culture is that our body needs a steady trickle of glucose throughout the day.

Without glucose the body can get really demanding (a.k.a. major sugar cravings)

What we’re going to look at in this masterclass is how the body uses carbs for energy, how to develop a new relationship with carbs that your body likes, and all the many ways your body loves using carbs (like for hormone balance).
